Born Majid Al Mohandis Al-Attabi on 25th October 1971 in Baghdad, Iraq, Iraqi-Saudi singer and composer Majid Al Mohandis is often called the "Engineer of the Arabic song" or "Voice of Diamond". The Arabic pop hero began life as a tailor before graduating from Baghdad's Faculty of Engineering. After realising his musical ambitions, he bought his first oud, fighting off his family’s concerns to work hard and focus on proving himself as a musician.
