Mai Lan Chapiron, born in 1982, is the daughter of graphic designer Christian
Chapiron, better known as Kiki Picasso. Her brother is film director Kim
Chapiron, for whom she sang the sultry "Gentiment, je t'immole" for the
soundtrack of the 2005 film Sheltan. She turned to folk for the track "Easy",
followed by an album of the same name released the same year, 2012. After a more
pop-oriented track entitled "Les Huîtres", Mai Lan turned resolutely towards
electro, as remixes by Brodinski, Krazy Baldhead and Schumacher had already
