Love Spit Love was an American alternative rock band formed in 1992 by former
Psychedelic Furs members Richard Butler (vocals) and Tim Butler (bass). After
the Psychedelic Furs went on hiatus, the Butler brothers sought a new musical
direction, which led to the creation of Love Spit Love. They were joined by
guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer, both of whom would later
become notable for their work with other prominent bands, including Guns
