Egyptian-Lebanese singer-songwriter Louis Chedid got his first taste of music as
a member of the French Catholic boys choir Manécanterie des Petits Chanteurs à
la Croix de Bois. With Django Reinhardt as an influence, Chedid embarked on a
musical career, releasing his debut album, 'Balbutiements', in 1973. He followed
this with 'Nous Sommes Des Clowns' and 'Hold Up!' in 1974 with 'Le Jeu De L'oie'
in 1975 and 'Ver De Terre' in 1976.
In 1981 he achieved his first number one album with 'Ainsi Soit-il', an
achievement he repeated in 1985 with 'Anne, Ma Soeur Anne'. He continued to...
