Los Nocheros
Los Nocheros is a group from Argentina, known as one of the country’s most
prominent folk pop acts. The band was founded in Salta, Argentina, in 1986 by
vocalists Mario Teruel and Rubén Sergio Ehizaguirre, though it soon expanded
into a four-piece including César Kike Teruel and Enrique "Pala" Aguilera. This
line-up recorded their first albums, including their 1987 debut Al Rojo Vivo and
1990’s Nuestra Salta. Los Nocheros performed all over Argentina, carved a niche
for themselves with their unique sound and their modern take on the folk music
tradition from the Argentine North. ...
