Los del Mar
Although hailing from Canada, Los Del Mar enjoyed a quick flash of global
popularity during the mid-'90s, thanks to a diverse sound influenced by
Andalusian folk music, Latin dance-pop, and techno. The group's biggest hit was
a cover of the Spanish dance song "Macarena." Originally released in 1995, Los
Del Mar's version of "Macarena" found bandmates Joe La Greca and Pedro Castaño
