A French singing duo from Reims, Les Sœurs Étienne consisted of Louise, born on
September 3, 1924, and Odette, born on March 21, 1928. Passionate about singing,
they seized the opportunity in the aftermath of the Second World War to bring
the rhythms imported from across the Atlantic to France, adapting the great
