As its name suggests, Les Elles was originally a group of four female
representatives, led from the outset by singer Pascaline Hervéet (vocals).
Signed to a satellite label of Boucherie Productions, dear to François
Hadji-Lazaro (Les Garçons Bouchers), the group released the album Les Elles
(Made in Normandie) in 1995. Following a second album of the same name in 1997,
the band underwent several changes, recording Pamela Peacemaker (2000) and
