Raised in an artistic family, Russian pop singer Leonid Agutin (born in Moscow,
1968) followed in his parents’ footsteps. With a professional music education of
piano classes under his belt, Agutin started to perform as a supporting artist
for various Soviet groups in 1989. Agutin’s debut album «Босоногий мальчик»
(‘Barefoot Boy’, 1994) brought him fame immediately. He was named Singer of the
Year, and also won Song of the Year (song «Хоп-хей-лала-лей» (‘Hop Hey Lala
