Laura Lopez Castro
German-born Catalan Laura López Castro invents her own vision of Latin song.
Inspired by artists such as Chilean Victor Jara and Brazilian Antonio Carlos
Jobim, she reminds us that delicate Latin melodies can also serve elaborate
compositions. With Franco-German guitarist Philippe Kayser aka Don Philippe,
Laura López Castro released Optativo in October 2010. This album follows Laura
López Castro y Don Philippe Inventant el Ser Feliz in 2007, and Mi Libro Abierto
by Laura López Castro alone in 2006.
