Larry Hernández is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter who specializes in the
Banda, Pacific Norteño, and Norteño-Banda genres. Born on March 10, 1977, in Los
Angeles, California, his family moved back to Mexico when he was just 4 years
old, settling down in Pueblos Unidos-Estación Obispo, a small town near
Culiacán, Sinaloa. A self-taught musician, he began writing music as early as
the age of 8, inspired by the work of narcocorrido pioneer Chalino Sánchez.
