A singer/songwriter firmly entrenched in the rootsy sound of Americana,
Langhorne Slim was born Sean Scolnick in Langhorne, Pennsylvania on August 20,
1980. He taught himself guitar as a teenager and began writing songs. After
graduating from SUNY Purchase’s Conservatory of Music. He honed his songwriting
craft and his performance chops playing at various eastern music clubs, and
gained some recognition when he became associated with The Trachtenburg Family
