Lafleyne, born in 1999, is a French R&B and pop singer of Madagascan origin.
Raised in a Protestant family, she discovered music at an early age through the
polyphonic chants of Malagasy worship services. Her pseudonym is an adaptation
of her first name, Lalaina, and reflects her determination to bring her artistic
projects to fruition. At 19, she received an AKAI MP3 mini keyboard and taught
herself music production on FL Studio. Between 2018 and 2020, she made a name
