Cristián Daniel Stambuk Sandoval, popularly known as Koko, was born to Croatian
immigrant parents on March 16, 1977, in Osorno, Chile. He burst onto the Chilean
music scene in 1996 as the lead singer and primary songwriter for the band
Glup!, which saw great success until its first disbandment in 2002. Venturing
into the world of soundtracks, Koko contributed music to theatre, film, and TV
productions such as En la Cama, Cesante, Los Debutantes, and Y Tu Hermana, with
