Kate Nash
Kate Nash was born in Dublin on July 6th, 1987 but relocated to London with her
parents whilst still a child. Failing to get into the prestigious Bristol Old
Vic Theatre School, her career in acting fell at the first hurdle, but the young
Nash picked herself up and began expressing her thoughts via songwriting. It
wasn't long before she was performing her work in local bars and uploading it to
the popular music and social networking website MySpace. The support rolled in,
as did a manager and producers, with her debut piece hot on their heels.
