Kan Kimura, more popularly known by his stage name KAN, was a Japanese singer
and songwriter. He was born on September 24, 1962, in Fukuoka, Japan. His
musical journey started in 1983 with the band Annette and soon transitioned to a
solo career in 1984. KAN's early career included composing background music for
a 1986 film by Nobuhiko Obayashi, leading to his major recording debut in 1987
