Multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer, Dutchman Tom Holkenborg aka
Junkie XL (or JXL, born 1967) is also a remixer and composer for video games,
film and advertising. This creative appetite goes hand in hand with influences
from progressive rock, metal and hip-hop. However, his personal albums, from
Saturday Teenage Kick (1997) to Synthesized (2012), are of little note. Junkie
