Joo, born Jung Min-joo (also Jung A-rin) on October 11, 1990, is a South Korean
singer, songwriter, and musical actress. Her journey in the entertainment
industry began when she competed in JYP Entertainment's Superstar Survival in
2006, where she didn't win but was accepted as a trainee. After two years of
rigorous training, she debuted in January 2008 with her single album Young Girl.
Despite her debut, Joo felt unprepared and returned to training for two more
years. She made her comeback in 2011 with the release of her EP Heartmade, which
featured popular tracks like "Bad Guy....
