John Petrucci
The rock guitarist John Petrucci was born in Long Island, New York on July 12th,
1967 and rose to fame as one of the founding members of Dream Theater, one of
America's most critically-acclaimed progressive rock bands. After learning to
play the guitar, Petrucci attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and
teamed up with childhood friend and fellow student John Myung. After meeting
drummer Mike Portnoy, the three went on to form the band Majesty, who eventually
