Jesus Jones
A product of the late 1980s/early 1990s British rock scene that was becoming
increasingly intertwined with rave culture, Jesus Jones melded jangly hooks with
dancey rhythms to become firm favourites of the indie crowd. Debut album
Liquidizer (1989) introduced the world to the band's signature bouncy, guitar
pop and their single Info Freako became strongly championed by Radio 1 DJ Bruno
Brookes. It led to second album Doubt (1990) topping the UK charts and producing
a rush of excitement in America where Right Here Right Now reached Number 2 and
