Composer, musician and arranger, Jean Musy has collaborated with numerous French
chanson artists, and signed several personal albums and film soundtracks. Born
in Levallois-Perret on December 18, 1947, he began playing the Hammond organ in
Paris jazz clubs. His meeting at the age of 16 with guitarist Mickey Baker, then
Johnny Hallyday's accompanist, led to his first collaboration with Nino Ferrer,
which lasted a year between concerts and the studio. Introduced to Joe Dassin,
