Wayne Rogers, now Wayne County, is a transvestite activist who took part in some
of Andy Warhol's creations. During the punk explosion of 1977, he moved to
London and formed The Electric Chairs with Corsican guitarist Henry Padovani.
They released two landmark albums, Storm the Gates of Heaven in 1978 and Things
Your Mother Never Told You in 1979. Crossing the line from cross-dressing to
transexuality, he became Jayne County. His musical career then became anecdotal
and based on provocation, despite an energetic Rock'N'Roll Cleopatra in 1995.
