Singer-songwriter Ingrid Andress was born into a large family, and spent most of
her childhood travelling. She first came to attention in NBC's a cappella
singing competition 'The Sing Off' in which she performed as part of a group
called Pitch Slapped which she joined whilst studying at Berklee College of
Music in Boston. She left Berklee with a degree in performance and composition
and moved to Nashville where she honed her skills as a songwriter, working with
both pop and country artists like Sam Hunt and Alicia Keys.
