Ila Arun (March 15, 1954) is an Indian actress and playback singer from Jaipur,
Rajasthan. Ever since she made her singing debut in the early 1980s, she has
become one of the most celebrated female playback singers in the industry,
reaching the pinnacle of her popularity in the 1990s with the song "Choli Ke
Peeche," featured on the soundtrack of the 1993 Hindi crime thriller Khalnayak.
Besides exposing her to a much wider audience, the track also earned her a
