Inspired by the grisly theatrics of horror movies, the heavy stomp of metalcore,
and the furious pace of modern punk, Ice Nine Kills was formed by high school
classmates Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz in Boston, Massachusetts.
Launched in 2000, the group spent several years fine-tuning its sound before
issuing a self-released debut album, Last Chance to Make Amends, in 2006. EPs
like 2007's The Burning and 2009's 2 Song Acoustic followed, as did the
sophomore album Safe Is Just a Shadow. Released in 2010, Safe Is Just a Shadow
was supported by a two-week run with the Warped ...
