Helge Schneider
Helge Schneider is popular German musician, actor, author and comedian. He was
born in Mülheim an der Ruhr in 1955 and started out his adult life as a
draughtsman in the construction industry. A change of heart saw him return to
college and, after passing an entrance exam, he began studying piano at the
Duisburg conservatory.
Schneider is a gifted musician and is equally at home playing drums, piano,
Hammond organ, saxophone, cello, guitar and a host of other instruments and this
ability is used to great effect during his live shows.
