Born Haricharan Seshadri on March 20th, 1987, the Indian Carnatic maestro known
mononymously as Haricharan grew up in a Tamil music family and began learning
the traditions of the Indian classical music form at the age of seven. He kicked
off his career just ten years later, recording his first Tamil film song for the
2004 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama Kaadhal scored by Joshua Sridhar, also
