A Breton-speaking singer, Gwennyn made her debut in 2000 with Alan Stivell on
Back to Breizh. She enjoyed particular success in the UK in 2006 with the album
En Tu All. On Mammenn in 2009, she explored plinn music and set Breton poets to
music. For Kan an Tevenn in 2011, Gwennyn sings some of the songs in French for
the first time. In 2012, Gwennyn was featured on the album La Belle Aventure des
Marins d'Iroise and on Nolwenn Leroy's Ô Fille de l'Eau. On November 2, 2013,
she released the album Beo, which means "to live" in Celtic languages.
