Known alternately as Cajmere and Green Velvet, Curtis Jones (b. Chicago, April
26, 1968) is an American DJ, producer, singer and composer of electronic house
music. He began to make a name for himself in 1991 with the release of his first
EP, Underground Goodies, before making a name for himself in 1993, notably by
collaborating with singer Dajae on the hit " Brighter Days ". A prolific career
followed, punctuated by studio albums under the name Green Velvet, as well as a
flurry of EPs and remixes (Madona, Basement Jaxx, etc.). In 2012, Ony 4 U: The
