Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Josh Legg left his psychology studies in Los
Angeles to take up electronic music. He began by forming the group NightWaves
with a classmate, and with him set up the label Binary Entertainement in 2007.
In 2011, he went solo and took the pseudonym Goldroom for the release of his
debut EP Angeles, followed two years later by the EP Embrace, featuring
vocalists Say Lou Lou and Chela. Called upon for remixes by Penguin Prison, St.
