Glim Spanky are an eccentric Japanese double act with strong influences from the
western psychedelic rock and blues of the 1960s and 1970s.
The band was formed by rhythm guitarist Remi Matsuo as a covers act in 2007.
After a little jostling around with the lineup, Hiroki Kamemoto joined as lead
guitarist alongside Kazuya Ozawa and Taku Mishima and the band began playing
original material penned by Matsuo.
Kazuya Ozawa and Taku Mishima played with the band for a few years but left in
2010, leaving Remi Matsuo and Hiroki Kamemoto to carry on as a duo. The pair,
