Born in New York on October 2, 1967, guitarist and folk performer Gillian Welch
captures the spirit of bluegrass, folk and country and brings it to life in her
compositions. Accompanied by Dave Rawlings, her debut album Revival (1996) was
produced by T-Bone Burnett. Her participation in the soundtrack to the film O
Brother, Where Art Thou? in 2000 and on tribute albums to Dwight Yoakam and Gram
