Rapper Ghost Dog hails from Marseille's Plan d'Aou district. He adopted this
pseudonym after Jim Jarmusch's 1999 film Ghost Dog: la voie du samouraï, and
also made a name for himself on local stages under the name Imolo. In 2010, he
posted his first hardcore rap mixtape, C'est Juste Un Avant-Goût Avant de
Crever, on his blog, but its success remained confidential. The same year, he
appeared on fellow rapper Alonzo's album Les Temps Modernes and on other Lil'
