Flor de Toloache is an all-female mariachi band formed in New York City in 2008.
Led by Mireya I. Ramos and Shae Fiol, the group consists of nine members from
Puerto Rico, Mexico, Germany, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Argentina, and Cuba.
They began their career as busking musicians performing in the New York subway,
where their performances caught the attention of numerous media outlets,
including the New York Times. In 2014, they made their official recording debut
