Born in York, England, in 1976, British songwriter Findlay Brown initially paid
the bills as a bare-knuckle boxer before relocating to London and embracing a
new career as a folk-pop solo artist. Inspired by alt-rock and psychedelic rock,
he began releasing original material in 2006, including the debut single "Down
Among the Dead Men" and the EP Losing the Will to Survive. His full-length
debut, Separated by the Sea, arrived the following year, featuring the single
