F.F.F. or Fédération Française de Fonk was founded in Paris in 1987 with members
Marco Prince (vocals), Yarol Poupaud (guitar), Nicolas Baby (bass) and Christian
"Krichou" Montieux (drums) Montieux (drums). Influenced by rock, funk and metal,
the band made a name for themselves at the Transmusicales de Rennes festival in
1990, releasing their acclaimed album Blast Culture the following year, recorded
in New York with Bill Laswell, followed by a tour that included support for
