Born in Quebec City on January 10, 1978, Étienne Drapeau is a Quebec pop singer.
He began his sporting career in ice hockey in 1994 and played for several
professional teams until 2002, before turning to singing. After starting out in
bars, he auditioned for Star Académie and finished among the ten finalists of
the second season. He then set up his own label, Les Productions Drapeau, and
recorded his first album, Je l'Ai Jamais Dit À Personne (2006), with which he
