The German dance band E-Rotic, led by singer Lyane Leigh and rapper David
Brandes, released the European top hit "Max Don't Have Sex With Your Ex" in
1994, which achieved gold certification. Songs such as "Fred Come to Bed" and
"Sex on the Phone" from the album Sex Affairs (1995) followed. The theme of sex
became E-Rotic's trademark, evident on the album The Power of Sex (1996), which
contained three more hit singles: "Willy Use a Willy.... Boy", "Help Me Mr.
Dick" and "Fritz Love My Tits". Even though the entire record did not match the
success of the first one, E-Rotic released...
