Born Dominique Jones on June 27, 1988, in Yakima, Washington, the gospel singer
is better known by her stage name, DOE. The daughter of pastors Dewitt Jones III
and Kim Jones, DOE and her family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana while she was
in her teens. She had already started writing songs by the age of 13 but
blossomed as a songwriter and singer while attending Evangel Christian Academy.
She became a member of the family group Forever Jones alongside her parents and
siblings Dewitt Jones IV, Judah Jones, Mya Joy Grace Jones, and D’Jeniele’
