Dj Pierre
DJ Pierre, releasing the track "Acid Trax" in 1986 under the name Phuture, is
the founder of Chicago's acid house sound with his sidekick Spanky. His
productions for the Strictly Rhythm label are enhanced by the use of the Roland
TB-303 synthesizer, and his album DJ Pierre (1994) remains a benchmark.
