he is both one of the world's sources of abstract hip-hop and one of the
precursors of the French touch. Substances is a cornerstone for anyone wishing
to understand the evolution of electronic music since 1996, and Loa Project in
2000 is a declaration of love set against a backdrop of voodoo rhythms. As a DJ,
our man is equally adept at selections and remixes, as evidenced by Mad Blunted
