Formed by songwriter Dave Longstreth in 2002, Dirty Projectors have made a name
for themselves on the lo-fi scene, releasing a string of albums in record time.
The experimental The Glad Fact (2003) and The Getty Address (2005) were followed
by a tribute to the godfathers of Black Flag(Rise Above, 2007) and the more
accessible Bitte Orca in 2009. After the Mount Wittenberg Orca EP, recorded live
with Björk, Dirty Projectors released the eclectic Swing Lo Magellan in summer
