Comedy duo Die Doofen formed in Hamburg, Germany in 1992. After meeting on
comedy show 'RTL Samstag Nacht', comedians Wigald Boning and Olli Dittrich
released 'Langspielplatte' as their debut album in '92, but split shortly after.
They reunited in '95 with the album 'Lieder, Die Die Welt Nicht Braucht' which
hit number one in the German Albums Chart and was followed in '96 by 'Melodien
für Melodien'. They disbanded in '98 after performing their last episode of 'RTL
Samstag Nacht'.
