(Dennis Lau)
Electric violinist, pianist, songwriter, and producer Dennis Lau was born in
Ipoh, Malaysia on September 9, 1985. He first became interested in music at the
age of 3 when, encouraged by his mother, he began learning to play the piano. He
also began studying the violin when he was 7. Moving to Kuala Lumpur at the age
of 8, he became the youngest Malaysian to reach Grade 8 when he passed the ABRSM
graded piano exam at the age of 11. He eventually earned several diplomas in
