Dan ar Braz met Alan Stivell in 1968, and accompanied him on guitar for ten
years. In 1972, Daniel Legrand "Bretonized" his name and became Dan ar Braz. In
1977, he released his first album, "Douar Nevez", about the legend of the town
of Ys. For the next ten years or so, he travelled and pursued a solo career. In
1993, at the Cornouaille Festival, Dan ar Braz had a huge success, playing with
L'héritage des Celtes, a fifty-strong band created for the occasion. The
