Daan is the solo project of Daan Stuyveen, a Belgian singer born in Leuven on September 24, 1969, who first made a name for himself with Dead Man Ray. The influence of this group is still palpable on Profools, Daan's first album, released in 1999, which is essentially made up of songs recorded by Daan Stuyveen between 1993 and 1999.
