Cyrille Aimée is a French jazz singer who has garnered international attention
for her frothy but persuasive style that critics say has echoes of both Sarah
Vaughan and Edith Piaf. Born just outside Paris, she won the Montreux Jazz
Festival Competition at the age of 23, was shortlisted in the 2010 Thelonious
Monk International Jazz Competition and placed first in the 2012 Sarah Vaughan
