Cookie Dingler is the band behind a single hit, "Femme libérée", which marked
the 1980s. Hailing from Strasbourg, it was formed by Christian Dingler,
nicknamed "Cookie" (b. 1947), singer, keyboardist and composer, backed by
musicians Paul Boulak (vocals, guitar), Frédéric Koëlla (guitar), Joël
Montemagni (bass), Jean-Michel Biger (drums) and Alexandre Theoval (percussion).
Composed by Dingler to lyrics by his neighbor Joëlle Kopf (1950-2019), who would
go on to write for Zazie, Patricia Kaas, Calogero, Maxime Le Forestier and
