CLMD is the stage name of the Norwegian DJ and producer Martin Danielle (birth name Martin Alexander Bjercke). The project began as a duo with fellow Norwegian DJ Carl Louis, forming the duo's name from their initials. Close friends from an early age, Carl and Martin became interested in dance music during high school and began DJing at friends' house parties. The duo began producing tracks together and scored an early hit with the 2010 track 'The Message.'
