Chris Stills' music is diverse, drawing on French variété and borrowing from
American blues, rock and folk. This eclecticism is hardly surprising from the
son of Véronique Sanson and Stephen Stills, who has always lived between France
and the USA. The author of two sensitive and sincere albums, 100 Year Thing in
1998, and Chris Stills in 2005, leads a courageous career, sometimes choosing
directions that are surprising to say the least, such as his participation in
the 2009 musical Cleopatra, Last Queen of Egypt.
